North West is reportedly to be banned from fashion shows as she will no longer be allowed to enter due to the scene she has caused in the New York Fashion week in February but her mother Kim Kardashian says it is discrimination.
"North should be welcome anywhere in the world', and if she's not, it's serious discrimination," 34-year-old Kardashian said, according to Hollywood Life.
The star from the reality show "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" has been bringing her 21-month-old baby in fashion shows and enjoying front row seats. Kardashian says her daughter is just a baby and she should not be discriminated.
A source shares that Kardashian feels Nori should be welcome anywhere but if she is not, Kardashian will not also attend events her daughter will be banned from.
Another source said that Kardashian takes her motherhood into a whole new level and she wants folds to know that North is a person and a human being just like everyone and that her crying or having tantrums is just a normal thing that babies do. The source adds that Kardashian recognizes everyone's right to enjoy fashion shows but her daughter also has that right.
According to Music Times, the news about North being banned came after Anna Wintour said that babies and toddlers should not be allowed in such events. Wintour actually sat beside Kardashian and North during one of the shows in NYFW and North also cried that time.
Reportedly, Wintour told designers not to allow toddlers on the front row at fashion events. She was successful in implementing this during the London Fashion Week. Wintour is expected to do the same during the NYFW next season.
Kardashian has not reacted directly to Wintour's new policy but her recent statements are taken as a reaction against the rule to be posed in fashion shows.
