Following the success of the recent Korean web toon “W Two Worlds,” another web drama would be seen soon by Hallyu fans. It is “The Sound of Your Heart” which was introduced through a press conference on Thursday.
The webtoon stars actor Lee Kwang Soo as Jo Suk, a would-be cartoonist. His co-stars are Jung So Min, Kim Dae Myung, Kim Byung Ok and Kim Mi Kyung, Soompi reported.
The actor revealed that before they started shooting the series, his producing director, Ha Byung Hoon, told him there would be a little nudity. Lee Kwang Soo assumed it would be his upper body, but the director said it involves showing his lower body. “When I found that out, I had to prepare my body instead,” he said.
As further preparation, the 31-year-old actor – who had a cameo role in the hit drama “Descendants of the Sun” and in the variety show “Running Man” – said he made sure to read all of “Sound of Heart” web toon, IBTimes reported.
It is not the first naked appearance of Lee Kwang Soo on TV. According to Runningmanaddict, on Aug. 5, in the “Vacation Money Race” episode of “Running Man,” because Yoo Jae Suk spent more than he could afford, he could not pay fees to shower at the Bed & Breakfast. He solved his problem by jumping in the shower of another cast of the variety show belonging to the opposite team.
He and Gary jumped into the shower of Lee Kwang Soo who was surprised but became Yoo Jae Suk’s naked hostage, while the intruder took a shower which made TV viewers laugh.
By Nov. 7, “The Sound of Your Heart” would begin to air every Monday on Naver TV Cast, and by December, it would air on KBS.
