So what's keeping Team Pangu or TaiG from releasing their next jailbreak works as Luca Todesco again proved that the iPhone 7 can be jailbroken, whether running iOS 10.1 or version 10.1.1? And Cydia maker Saurik has already indicated that his creation will run smooth and easy on iOS 10, so why the long wait from any of the jailbreak devs?

Has Apple outsmarted the hackers this time? It could be as the tech giant has been issuing versions of iOS 10 real fast since its debut and the devs are finding it hard to catch up. It could be that the OS has been cracked numerous times but Apple seems to be getting the better of Pangu and company by rolling updates real quick. And each time, holes are expected to have been plugged by the deployed patches, which likely explain the long delay to an iOS 10 jailbreak release.

Will this be the case again as iDownloadblog.com reported that well-known iOS hacker Luca Todesco has again successfully pried open the latest Apple mobile OS and he has proof. Todesco showed off that he managed to get around the iOS 10's kernel patch protection that allowed him to jailbreak version 10.1.1 of the software.

The dev even updated his latest achievement and declared that his jailbreak is backward compatible with iOS 10.1. "Updated my stuff so it works on 10.1 too now," Todesco was reported by iDownloadblog as saying.

But will the dev make his work public anytime soon, or ever? Unlikely as Todesco is mostly known to inform the jailbreak community that iOS can be modified no matter how Apple has made it tightly secured. And it's the same with iOS 10 or for that matter, for versions 10.1 and 10.1.1.

Thus, the usual jailbreak providers should take cue from Todesco and get something solid going and soon. Who could these be? It seems unlikely that iH8sn0w will drop a jailbreak from his end as the dev works the same way as Todesco - letting the world know that exploits or backdoors always exist for a successful jailbreaking.

Then it will be a toss between TaiG and Pangu. "Teams like Pangu and TaiG have the greatest likelihood of releasing a jailbreak for iOS 10," iDownloadblog said on its report, adding that Pangu appears steps ahead with its jailbreaking already on advanced stage.

And Saurik or Jay Freeman of Cydia agrees. According to the dev, the last he checked it is Pangu that has the most credible work for an iOS 10 jailbreak so it's only safe to assume that the Chinese hacking team will again be responsible for the next jailbreak release.
