Blizzard Entertainment has announced that patch 2.00 for "Overwatch" is now available for download. The patch also adds the hacker Sombra to the character roster.
According to the official forums of the video game, the patch 2.00 has a size of 10.61GB and it is now live on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It adds a new feature, new arena map, and many more. It also fixed different issues that the video game was plagued before.
The new feature of the popular first person shooter game is the Arcade mode. Players can choose from a variety of rotating game modes, maps and rulesets that are not usually in Quick Play or Competitive Play. It will contain an alternating selection of brawls, special rulesets like no hero switching and it will reward them with Arcade specific rewards like Loot Boxes.
Ecopoint: Antartica will be added as a new arena map for "Overwatch," which was a former Overwatch installation where Mei-Ling Zhou was once stationed. Due to the intense polar storm and running out of supplies, the team stationed here decided to cryogenically freeze their own selves until the storm passed. Mei woke up here nearly a decade later, which she thought it was only a few months after the storm.
The new map is a compact new Arena map for players to try out. It will feature multiple new game modes like the 3-vs-3 battle and 1-on-1 duel and it is also available in Arcade mode.
The Competitive Play second season will be ending on Nov. 23 and the third season will start on Nov. 30. During the break, players can queue their matches using the Competitive Play ruleset, but skill ratings will not be affected at that time and there will be no Competitive Points. Adjustments to the skill rating system for season 3 will also be done when it starts.
According to the official website of "Overwatch," Sombra the infiltrator has finally joined the fray. She uses stealth and debilitating attacks to defeat her opponents, and her hacking skills can disrupt them from moving. Her EMP attack can provide her the advantage against a lot of opponents at once, and her Translocate and camouflage moves can make her a hard target to pin down.
