This left many fans and video game aficionados trying to figure what went wrong with the huge franchise which brings out a Call of Duty game every year. One of the latest criticisms has come from Josh Olin, who was once a community manager associated with the franchise. He outlined in a recent interview with CharlieINTEL that "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare" had lost sight of its roots.

Olin even went into detail about what was wrong with the latest edition "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare" which released on Nov. 4 and came down hard on the multiplayer part of the game. He specifically pointed to the wall running in the game, and stated that it was another aspect that amplified the complexity that gamers had to deal with when they played "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare".

This is not the first time that the repetitive nature of the series and wall running has been criticized. USA Today even stated that the wall running and class system as being similar to "Black Ops III" and brings nothing new to this year's game.

With games in the franchise slowly losing it draw, it remains to be seen if future offerings will become less complex. However, when it comes to problems pertaining to "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare" several others have been outlined by gamers. These include problems with lag which have stemmed from poor servers, inadequate map design resulting in players have to navigate mazes, and clunky wall running that lags behind what is offered by Titanfall.

Since its debut in November "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare" has failed to strike a chord with gamers who have remained loyal to the franchise. This reflected in the launch sales, and the game earning 48.5 percent less than the previous installment which was released last year. However, in spite of weakening sales, the game still managed to take the number one spot in charts in the UK and beat others.
