"Black Mirror"

If you are planning to add a mix of mystery and technology to your holidays, "Black Mirror" is the show to go. Dubbed as the "'Twilight Zone' for the 21st century," the show has standalone episodes about the modern world and technology's bad effects in human lives. The first two seasons have three episodes each while the third season, which was exclusively made for Netflix, has six episodes. Who would want to watch a teenage boy get hacked and was forced to do things he is not familiar with to save his face from shame?

"Stranger Things"

Next on the list is the 2016 hit "Stranger Things." The show rose to fame with a mix of its 80s feel and mystery horror genre. Three kids, who came along a female stranger, are trying to find their friend who was trapped in the alternate universe. "Stranger Things" has eight episodes and Season 2 will reportedly be released in July 2017, Mirror reported.

"30 Rock"

For someone who looks to laugh, the seven-year sitcom of "30 Rock" will suffice. Starring veteran comedians Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Alec Baldwin and the like, "30 Rock" has an Emmy award for Outstanding Comedy Series. The show has 138 episodes spanning seven seasons, perfect for a series marathon.

"Flash" and "Arrow"

DC Comics' "Arrow" and "Flash" are two action-packed series that will push you at the end of your seat. "Arrow" already has four seasons under its belt and its fifth season is already airing. "Flash," on the other hand, has two seasons finished. A crossover between the two DC Comics show is reportedly on the way, according to Empire Online.
