From the time Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson starred in the "Fifty Shades" franchise, the two have been repeatedly linked romantically. Despite being married to Amelia Warner, Dornan ultimately revealed his true feelings for his co-star.
With the "Fifty Shades Darker" release date is just around the corner, rumors about Dornan's secret affair with Johnson reached an all-time high. In a recent interview with Inquirer.net the actor dished out details about his relationship with his leading lady.
The 34-year-old actor explained that Johnson understands what he is going through and he understands what she is going through. Dornan further added that he is thankful for their relationship.
Even though he claimed "I'm thankful for that and that we have respect for each other," he also clarified that they are just "great friends."
Despite his clarification, the rumors about their alleged affair never died. In fact, it only intensified further when Dornan was all praises for his co-star.
He revealed on Good Morning America that the two have a lot of fun together and that they were both going through an insane journey while filming for the "Fifty Shades" installments. Dornan also said that he is thankful to have done it with Johnson, who he calls funny and easy to get along with.
Meanwhile, even though there are plenty of reports about Dornan's divorce from his wife, Amelia Warner, the couple continues to stay together. In fact, they recently made an appearance at Independent Films Awards in London, looking very much in love.
As far as Johnson is concerned, the actress is not only linked with Dornan but also other co-stars from the "Fifty Shades" series. Recently she was rumored to be dating Rita Ora, who plays Mia Grey in the film, and also model Cara Delevigne.
"Fifty Shades Darker" is set to premiere on Feb.10, 2017 and will release with R rating due to graphic nudity, language and sexual content.
