Justin Bieber seems to be making the most of his lengthy break as he was spotted this week jogging in Los Angeles without his shirt on.
On Dec. 20, the 22-year-old singer stripped off for a run in L.A., flashing his toned body and his massive collection of ink tattoos which included the "son of God" design he got last month. He was reportedly wearing a camouflage sweat pants with shorts when he was spotted maneuvering through the rocky terrain of the Runyon Canyon in Hollywood.
An eyewitness told The Sun that Bieber, who is a regular sprinter, initially wore a shirt but took it off when it started to get too hot. He held the shirt in his hands as he jogged along.
In 2015, the singer reportedly stopped jogging somewhere in the canyon to chat with a hiker named Mike Maedke. In a previous interview, Maedke said he had a chat with Bieber for a good 20 minutes about the trappings of fame.
The hiker said Bieber told him he missed Canada, then looked down at L.A. and said, "It's chaotic down there." Their conversation was then interrupted by some teenage fans who took a quick selfie with Bieber.
The singer just finished his "Purpose World Tour" and is currently taking a break before he goes back to the grind for the next leg of his American shows.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Bieber was planning to adopt an exotic animal as a replacement for his pet monkey, Mally, which he had to abandon at an airport in Germany. According to Celebuzz, the singer was forced to leave his pet after failing to provide proper health documents for Mally to customs officials. The incident angered animal rights groups in 2013, with the president of PETA even saying that Bieber needed a brain scan.
"I sometimes think that Justin Bieber needs a brain scan, as I suspect his mirror neurons--the seat of empathy--are underdeveloped or undeveloped, given that he acts like a self-absorbed, childish showoff. He seems incapable of seeing how his buying habits cause needless suffering to animals, such as baby tigers, baby monkeys and wild coyotes," said PETA president Ingrid Newkirk.
