SBS TV drama "God's Gift: 14 Days" is going to get a remake in the United States. The murder mystery is expected to premiere sometime in 2017.

ABC has ordered for a 10-episode series based on the Korean murder mystery drama, "God's Gift: 14 Days," which will be titled "Somewhere Between," according to Variety. The series will be written by Stephen Tolkin, who will also act as the executive producer along with Joseph Broido and Ivan Fecan.

"Somewhere Between" was picked up after "Mistresses" was cancelled. The Korean drama-based series is said to be a perfect replacement to "Mistresses" since it will have a female protagonist.

"God's Gift: 14 Days" tells a story of a mother named, Kim Soo-hyun, whose daughter was taken and murdered. Soo-hyun then discovers that she has the ability to go back in time and stop her daughter's murder from ever happening. Soo-hyun then gets help from an ex-cop working as a private investigator to solve the crime that's about to happen.

On the other hand, "Somewhere Between" will follow Laura Price who knows that her daughter, Serena, will be killed. She knows when this will happen but she doesn't know who is behind the killing and the killer's motive. She will do everything to make sure that Serena avoids that horrible fate. Cast details have not been revealed.

"God's Gift: 14 Days" concluded in April and SBS received an offer from the American production company. A representative for SBS said that details of the contract cannot be disclosed but it was revealed that the Korean network is "receiving a remarkable deal" for the series.

"This drama means more to us knowing that it's a genre that American viewers prefer," Soompi quoted the representative as saying. "The reason why the American production company sent us the offer was because of the drama's creativity and perfection."

The U.S. version of "God's Gift: 14 Days" will premiere in summer of 2017. The series will be filmed in Vancouver, Canada. Watch the Korean trailer for "Gods Gift: 14 Days" below.
