The updates have already started arriving just this week, so  it would be accessible to all the users soon, Economic Times reported.

As early as February, reports were already circulating that bugs have already been fixed and updates have been done to improve the running performance of the previous Android.

HTC even made Twitter comments that Android 5.1 updates will be arriving early this March and surprisingly, some have reported that the updated Android 5.1 were already seen on some devices, ahead of the official release.

Google has been keeping mum on their new software and the release date, before the official launch in their usual blog style.  Android 5.1 Lollilop may be the best software for the Android One smart phones for the budget-conscious consumers and an update has been anticipated for some time.

It can be remembered that Google had announced last October 2014 upon the release of Android 5.0 Lollilop that it will be releasing two more updates to fix the then serious bugs found.  With the two updates, Android 5.0.1 and Android 5.0.2 respectively, consumers are still complaining on some issues like shorter battery life and lower performance level against Google's promise of better software.

Hearing all the complaints and unhappy users, Google had promised an updated Android 5.1 to solve the problems encountered.  And with the launch of the latest lollipop upgrade, a new fix will be rolling out with the devices of Nexus 6 and 7.

Google has been doing testing on the Android 5.1 Lollilop to fix and update the irregularity on the previous version and a memory enhancement has been done to do that.
