AMD revealed a new technology and performance details of its high-performance desktop processors "Ryzen," and showcasing its upcoming graphics chip "Vega" at CES 2017 in Las Vegas.

AMD Ryzen processor-based solutions have extreme performance in PC designs from 17 top system integrators across the globe. These have innovative third-party CPU cooler designs which are good for Ryzen CPUs ecosystem. Ryzen-based designs from all top global PC OEMs and the wide arrays of high-performance motherboard have been unveiled on its launching.

AMD announced 16 cutting-edge high- performance AM4 motherboards from five manufacturers. The five wide arrays of new motherboards from ASRock, Asus, Biostar, Gigabyte, and MSI support two upcoming desktop chipsets for AMD Ryzen processors. These processors are X370 and X300. The X370 and X300 have innovative technology features including dual-channel DDR4 memory, NVMe, M.2 SATA devices, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and Gen 2 ports, and PCIe 3.0 capability.

At CES 2017, ASRock motherboards have X370 Taichi, X370 Gaming K4, AB350 Gaming K4, and A320M Pro4. Asus has only B350M-C. Biostar has X370GT7, X350GT5, and X350GT3. Gigabyte showcases GA-AX370-Gaming K5, GA-AX370-Gaming 5, AB350-Gaming 3, and A320M-HD3. MSI displays A320M Pro-VD, X370 Xpower Gaming Titanium, B350 Tomahawk, and B350M Mortar.

The X370 chipset-based motherboards are designed for high performance and cutting-edge features which have superior connectivity support for overclocking and dual graphics. The X300 chipset-based motherboards feature an AMD Ryzen-ready AM4 socket with mini-ITX size ideal for small factor PCs, according to the AMD website.

The Ryzen processor-motherboards must have new CPU cooler brackets. AMD is working with 15 cooler manufacturers on a group of third-party AM4 cooling solutions. The Mobile Picker unveiled that the cooler brackets focus on a quiet and an effective cooling solution to overclock.

AMD also released the first official details on Vega. AMD Vega is a bigger chip with 4,096 cores clocked around 1.5-1.6GHz. It also has 45 percent faster than the Fury X. It will target the mainstream gaming audience together with Ryzen with good and efficient performance. AMD Ryzen processor-based PCs, AM4 motherboards, and compatible cooling solutions are anticipated to be available in Q1, 2017.
