While speaking with TV Line, the actress confirmed that the entire episode will only focus on April and Jackson's trip to Montana where they will also be handling a patient's case.

Since they divorced, April and Jackson have been co-parenting their daughter, Harriett. But this is the first time that the estranged couple will be working together, with none of their friends and colleagues around.

"It is just the two of us and we go to Montana on a case. And we are forced to face each other and be in small spaces and navigate a whole bunch of stuff together, and it is a really cool turning point for them in their relationship," she explained.

Meanwhile, April and Jackson previously starred in their own solo episode in a previous episode of "Grey's Anatomy." However, Drew said that the upcoming one will be very different because it centers on light and hope and features still, quiet and intimate scenes between the new parents.

Unfortunately, even though April and Jackson are bound to reunite, executive producer Shonda Rhimes recently hinted on the possibility that they would not jump into a relationship again.

While speaking with TV Line, Rhimes said that April and Jackson will continue to co-parent their daughter, Harriett, but their storyline in the upcoming episode has nothing to do with this. "It gets much more interesting than you would imagine," she said.

In other news, the fate of "Grey's Anatomy" remains unknown, but the heads of ABC and Rhimes are all confident that they will be picked up for Season 14.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, episode 10 was supposed to air on ABC on Jan. 19, but it was moved to Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. EST to accommodate a special episode for Donald Trump.
