In the scene, a very happy Wes approaches Annalise and tells her that he got the internship he has been dying to apply for. Annalise was very happy for Wes. From a distance, the professor sees a woman looking at Wes with a huge smile on her face.

When Annalise who the woman is, Wes told her that it is Meggy, his girlfriend. Annalise noted that it seems Meggy wants Wes to introduce her to his professor. But before Wes could do so, Annalise told him to just tell Meggy that she was in a rush.

Annalise, who has been staying in jail for the past couple of days, wakes up from her dream after a jail staff calls her name.

In the midseason finale, it was already revealed that Wes is dead. But who killed him, and how he died are mysteries that were answered in "We're Bad People." But ahead of this shocking revelation, fans were first left to guess how Wes' body was placed in Annalise's home when he was already dead a few hours earlier.

On top of this, Annalise is also being implicated for Wes' death since his body was found in his home. There are also speculations that she was the one who asked for her home to be put on fire so she could hide whatever evidences they could use against her there.

Meanwhile, executive producer Pete Nowalk spoke with TV Line ahead of the winter finale to share what is in store for Annalise Keating.

"People are used to seeing her kick ass and take names. But we are picking up the day after the house fire, after she has found out Wes has been killed. Annalise is quite devastated and she is in shock - I think that is the best way to describe it," he said.

Based on Nowalk's statement, it seems that Annalise did not have anything to do with Wes' death.

"How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3 airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
