Floyd Mayweather Sr. is very confident that his son will beat Manny Pacquiao in the upcoming superfight on May 2.
Mayweather's father said that Pacquiao was just one of his son's opponents and that the Filipino boxer will not be the one throwing punches, LA Times reported.
"Floyd is the best, I must confess; all the rest, there's no contest," Mayweather Sr. told the media.
Mayweather Sr. also said that Floyd "Money" will not have any problems with Pacquiao, citing his son's 47-0 undefeated record in boxing. He added that his 38-year-old son already fought both orthodox and southpaw fighters, which Pacquiao is.
The Philippine's "Pac-Man" Pacquiao, 36, holds a boxing record of 57-5-2 with 38 knockouts.
Anticipated by boxing fans all over the world, Money and Pac-Man's fight in Las Vegas will have the largest purse in the history of boxing at more than $250 million at stake. Most are even calling the upcoming fight the biggest match since Muhammad Ali's fight with Frazier.
Meanwhile, Mayweather Sr. scoffed at the hopes of Amir Khan to fight his son after the bout with Pacquiao.
"There is nothing in those fights for him. It not even in our thoughts," Floyd's father told Mirror.
The British boxer has already expressed his desire to fight either of the two in the past, but he admits that the upcoming bout might have crushed his chances already.
Instead, Khan wants to fight American boxer Adrien Broner, who recently beat John Molina Jr. earlier this month, as he explicitly posted on Twitter account.
