Since Alex decided to take the plea deal in episode 10, he will certainly go to jail for physically assaulting one of his colleagues. However, Meredith and Maggie do not have any idea just how long he will be there.

When Meredith finally found Alex's case number from the latter's phone, Maggie typed it in on the site. They were both surprised to know that Alex could be in jail for 30 years to life.

Now that Meredith knows how long Alex could be away, she will find a way to break the news to her fellow residents at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. It is also possible that Jo (Camilla Luddington) will learn the truth about Alex's time in jail in episode 11.

Meanwhile, Eliza (Marika Dominczyk) will be going to work at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, but it is obvious that Dr. Webber (James Pickens Jr.) is not happy that he could be teaming up with her.

Previously, Eliza told Dr. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) that it is time for her to let Dr. Webber go. After all, he is old and should already retire. At one point, Dr. Bailey contemplated on the possibility, but since she could not just ask Dr. Webber to retire, she decided to give him less work.

Now that Eliza will officially start her work at the hospital, Dr. Webber is pooling a group of people who will make her days impossible to deal with. Maggie, Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April (Sarah Drew) will try to help execute Dr. Webber's plan to put Eliza through hell.

However, it seems that Jackson is hesitant with the idea because it would also mean refusing to following Dr. Bailey's orders. Jackson believes in the latter especially since she's the first black chief at the hospital.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, episode 11 will air on ABC on Feb. 2 at 8 p.m. EST.
