AMD Ryzen specs, release date, and price information have seen various updates recently. The most recent update for the highly rumored desktop CPU is the inclusion of the 6 core Ryzen CPU along with another 16 AMD processor model.

In the previous weeks, some gamers and AMD enthusiasts were surprised to learn that AMD will not be releasing a 6-core CPU as part of their Summit Ridge variants. However, recent reports suggest that a 6 core Ryzen processor will be included in their upcoming release.

The said release inclusion of a Ryzen 6 core processor was based on the technical analysis referred back to Forbes by a reliable source. Based on the analysis of the Ryzen architecture, the CPU can be technically configured as a 6 core model by disabling each CPU core separately together with dedicated L2 cache from CCX without affecting shared L3 cache.

On the other hand, an porpurtedly listing of the upcoming AMD Ryzen CPU models was leaked online, and it included the significant details of the processors. The SR3, SR5, and SR7 segments were supposed to be analogous to that of Intel's core i3, i5, and i7. However, with the 6 core included in the Ryzen line-up, a significant performance difference and additional option have been added.

To highlight some models, AMD Summit Ridge 7 of 8C/16T series will come with 5 models, according to the leak's main source Coolaler. The models are R7 1800X, R7 PRO 1800, R7 1700X, R7 1700, R7 PRO 1700, while X has been assumed as the indicator for the unlocked setting of the processor.

Furthermore, the 6 core processor is made up of 4 series, starting with R5 1600X, R5 Pro 1600, AMD R5 1500, and  R5 Pro 1500. However, no details yet are confirmed regarding the PRO extension of the said 6 core device.

Moreover, the said leaked info of the upcoming AMD Ryzen processors mentioned that the availability of the Ryzen CPUs would be on March 2.  As for its price, most rumors still contend that it would be within $500 price point to undermine Intel's expensive lineup.
