The "Prison Break" Season 5 new poster was released by Fox via Entertainment Weekly. The tagline reads "First, it was a prison. Now, it's a nation."

It was just recently when a Season 5 footage was released that teased fans of a different Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) in the new nine-episode run. In the video, Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) was seen talking to her son and comparing Michael to a storm.

"Prison Break" Season 5 will answer what really took place, and why Michael is still alive after he suffered electrocution in Season 4. Adding to the question is how he also survived his brain tumor.

Meanwhile, although it has been revealed that Season 5 has a shorter nine episodes as compared to its usual 10 episodes, there is a possibility that there is more to come. In 2016, Miller opened up about possible talks to have more episodes following the reboot.

"The reboot is nine new episodes airing in spring 2017," Miller told Digital Spy of "Prison Break" Season 5. "Depending on how it's received, and who's available, there could be another conversation about another bite of the apple. We'll see..."

As previously teased in spoilers, Michael will be returning to his family after almost eight years, but there is a probability that he is no longer the same man that he used to be. The new trailer revealed that his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), Fernando (Amaury Nolasco), C-Note (Rockmond Dunbar) and Sara will be rescuing him from Ogygia Prison in Yemen.

When "Prison Break" Season 5 returns, Michael would be assuming the name Kaniel Outis as the wanted poster revealed. It was also written that he was a terrorist, connected with the ISIL and has been involved in killing a CIA officerand several bombings.

Season 5 will air on April 4 on Fox. Watch a previous interview with Miller about the reboot of the hit Fox series below:
