The expensive legs of Taylor Swift made the headlines last week after rumors started that she paid US$40 million for the insurance of her gorgeous limbs. However, one of her cats actually attacked her legs leaving a wide scratch on her upper thigh.
The "Shake It Off" crooner posted a photo of her wound on her Instagram page and was spotted by the paparazzi covering up her wound with a band aid as per report of Hollywood Life. The 25-year-old singer showed off her wound on Saturday it was reportedly her cat Meredith that is to blame regarding her wound.
She wrote on her Instagram account the following statement: "GREAT WORK MEREDITH I WAS JUST TRYING TO LOVE YOU AND NOW YOU OWE ME 40 MILLION DOLLARS."
Swift loves to show off her long limbs by wearing high-waisted shorts and short figure-hugging dresses and she still did not hesitate to wear them as she was spotted wearing a short black dress when the paparazzi snapped a photo of her trying to cover up the wound.
According to Business Insider, the insurance rumor started when The National Enquirer wrote about it in an article claiming that Swift did not want to jeopardize her US$200-million career because her legs is everything to her since she is able to give amazing and energetic performances with it.
Swift never commented on the insurance issue and her Instagram post about joking that her cat owes her money is the first time she shed light on the rumor. This is not the first time that Swift was involved in a ridiculous rumor as people accused of her not having a belly button. Swift responded to it by posting a photo of her wearing a midriff and a bikini to show off that she indeed has a belly button.
