In "Switched at Birth" Season 5 episode 7 titled "Memory (The Heart)," Bay Kennish (Vanessa Mariano) and Daphne Vasquez (Katie Leclerc) will meet a mysterious young woman. This will flood Bay and Daphne with memories of their late father Angelo Sorrento (Gilles Marini).
Toby Kennish (Lucas Grabeel) will be in a dilemma. His mother Kathryn Kennish (Lea Thompson) wishes to baptize his son but he has to consider his wife's feelings about faith.
Melody wants the family to be together for her birthday. She will ask her sons to make amends.
Nan McNamara will play Brenda Powers in "Switched at Birth" for the second time. Anthony Muniz will also be featured in the episode as a college student.
