Singer and rapper Lisa, a band member of K-pop group BLACKPINK, made a grand departure for Paris today to join the rest of the group for the 2021 fashion week. Lisa's arrival at the airport was met with fans and reporters mobbing the place.

The BLACKPINK rapper was seen at Seoul's Incheon Airport dancing to "Lalisa", her recent single hit that has shattered YouTube records, and greeted the media. Though reporters and fansite representatives mobbed the airport, making it difficult for the K-pop artist to enter the place, the young singer looked happy to see her fans there. Lisa sang, danced, did the Saranghae sign, and other cute antics for the frenzied fans.

The singer is BLACKPINK's last member to leave for Paris after Jisoo and Rose arrived in France on September 25 for the Dior show. Jennie from the group is also in Paris for the Chanel event as their global ambassador. Lisa is the global ambassador for the french luxury brand, Celine. In addition to churning out chartbusters, BLACKPINK has been taking over the fashion industry by storm. Earlier, this month, Rose attended the 2021 Met Gala.

Fans of Lisa, whose real name is Lalisa Manobal, have gone wild on social media and online communities as they continue to talk about her entering France. The constant discussion has made "LALISA EN FRANCE" trend on social media and online communities. BLACKPINK fans are unable to keep calm and are speculating what type of looks LISA will debut during her appearance at the Paris Fashion Week. Earlier, when the singer was leaving Seoul for Paris "BienvenueLisa" had started trending.

Lisa's debut single album Lalisa and its eponymous single were released on September 10, achieving the record of the most-viewed music video by a soloist in 24 hours with 73.6 million views. The singer achieved a rare feat for South Korean artists, placing her up there with Psy of Gangnam style and K-pop sensation BTS's "SUGA".

Lisa, whose ethnicity is Thai, was the first non-ethnically Korean to debut under the YG Entertainment agency. The performer has now ruled the YouTube global chart for three consecutive weeks, with two different uploads from the same album, "Lalisa" and B-side  "Money". The singer replaced herself at No. 1 on the chart of the world's biggest music videos on YouTube, establishing her position as a hitmaker.
