Princess Anne recently visited Paris in order to highlight French and British relations in line with the 2024 Olympics. Several high-profile dignitaries were seen with the princess. However, President Macron was not one of them.

Princess Anne, who is now 71 years of age, came by France on Sunday and Monday. One of the things she's done in the country was planting the first overseas Jubilee Tree as a new part of the Queen's Green Canopy.

The Jubilee Tree was planted in the garden of the British Ambassador to France. In honor of Queen Elizabeth's II's Platinum Jubilee in 2022. The gesture will be repeating itself in all British Embassies as well as High Commissions, Crown Dependencies, and British Overseas Territories.

Menna Rawlings, the British Ambassador to France, said that she was "delighted" in welcoming Princess Anne.

She had this to say, "I am delighted to welcome Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal to Paris for an exciting programme that reflects HRH's interests as well as the UK and France's shared values and engagement on the world stage."

Rawlings then ended the speech with, "From promoting sustainability to celebrating women at the cutting edge of science, to looking forward to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, it is a huge honour to host this visit and share with HRH what it means to be such close 'voisins.'"

The Princess Royal also met with the Laurette's UNESCO/L'Oreal Women in Science program. Not only that, but she also met with the senior representatives of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic games.

The 71-year-old, Princess Royal, visited the Longchamp Racecourse during her visit and watched the 100th edition of the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe. Much to the surprise of the winner, Princess Anne was the one who handed the trophy to Torquator Tasso.

Princess Anne's timely appearance over in Paris has been talked about as the mark of Britain and France's strength of what they call an "indelible friendship."

The official Twitter account of the British Embassy in France says, "The royal flag symbolises the arrival of the Royal Family in France ... It also marks the strength of an indelible friendship between our two countries."

Regardless of what people are talking about, it is still a fact that the French president, Emmanuel Macron, was not in attendance as when Princess Anne has had her affairs in Paris.
