As Queen Elizabeth II prepares for her celebration for her Platinum Jubilee next year, she's warned of a plot about a "serious gamble" for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's future roles.

The Queen, who is already 95 years old. Will become the first-ever British Monarch to be celebrating a Platinum Jubilee next year to mark 70 years sitting on top of the throne.

Throughout the year, members of the Royal Family, including Her Majesty, will travel all around the country, engaging in a multitude of tasks and engagements to make this momentous occasion.

The Queen will be awarded the Platinum Jubilee medals to select members of the Royal Family to mark the occasion.

Buckingham Palace has already confirmed that the medals will be awarded to some of her relatives. Including those who have not yet undertaken or who no longer do official engagements on Her Majesty's behalf.

Prince Andrew, 61, is currently involved in a civil lawsuit in New York, as well his daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are already part of the list to be awarded the medals in question.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also appear to be on the list of people receiving the award, as per the Daily Express's royal correspondent, Richard Palmer.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will both be receiving the prestigious medals by Her Majesty, despite stepping away from the monarchy early on in 2020.

The "serious gamble" begins with journalist and royal commentator Daniela Elser, who argued that the Queen "not listening to her people" could backfire as Prince Harry and Meghan's popularity suffered a recent plummet in the UK. Elser says that the Queen's decision to "not rock the boat" would suffer a backlash.

Elser wrote in the news saying that the Queen's decision to not cause any more friction and to cut what she did in 2012, rather than listening to her people's wishes, is pursuing a serious gamble.

In recent YouGov polls, the Duke of Sussex has dropped nearly 10 percent in popularity, and overall positive opinions pertaining to the royals in Britain dropped 43 to 34 percent.

Meghan Markle dropped in popularity as well from 29 to 26 percent.

Despite the backlash, it doesn't seem that the Her Majesty would not change the members who will receive the medals anytime soon.
