Jake Gyllenhaal, 40, is so in love with his girlfriend Jeanne Cadieu 25 that he gushed over the blossoming romance on The Howard Stern Show. The show aired Monday, October 4, and even hinted they are ready to take some big steps together.
"All I want is to be a good husband and father...That really could be what's next for me now- That's where my head needs heading," Jake told Stern per E! News. "But before all of this past year or two years ago, there might've been another part of myself which was like, 'Hey, maybe something else?' It just felt right."
Jake arrived at the Tony Awards in style, with his model girlfriend by his side. The couple sparked romance rumors back when they were dating less than two years ago. But they have managed to keep themselves out of sight and mind for now, which the actor appreciated from Jeanne on September 26 while attending an event supporting him!
When he was asked if he planned on getting married one day, Jake slightly dodged the question. "There are only so far I'll go as talking about it," said Nightcrawler actor and his girlfriend Jeanne didn't enjoy all of what comes with being in an open relationship, but that's why they're great together; "I love her so much."
Jake and Jeanne's relationship comes after years of focusing solely on Jake's successful acting career. After they posed together for the premiere of his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal's movie The Lost Daughter, a source exclusively told HollywoodLife that he is looking forward to wherever their relationship will lead them next.
Jake shared some comments about actress/girlfriend Jeanne last month, which came out during events where she was present - such as attending an award show or red carpet event with him at one point this summer.
The source went on and said that Jake is a good guy and has spent a lot of years working hard and prioritizing his career. Now, however, he has reached that point in life where he is looking for something more, or rather, the next chapter.
He is both focused on his personal pursuits in life as well as maintaining a successful career and, on top of that, is madly in love with Jeanne as they make a "darling couple."
