K-pop artist Lalisa Manobal, who is more popularly known as Lisa from BLACKPINK, is launching her own makeup line in partnership with the cosmetic giant M·A·C.

M·A·C Cosmetics announced the development on their Instagram handle with the post that Lisa is designing cosmetics, which will be created by the cosmetic company exclusively and will feature all of the singer's favorite products. The brand will also release new shades inspired by what Lisa loves the most. It will mark the first-ever collection by Lisa that will be sold worldwide by M·A·C.

In a post on the singer's Instagram handle, she can be seen holding a lipstick tube with a red base and a sparkly purple cap, sporting what looks like a gold handwritten signature. Another photo is of a purple, round compact with what seems like a metallic or silver sparkly finish that matched the cap of the lipstick.

Fans of Lisa and BLACKPINK haven't been able to contain their excitement after the news. Meanwhile, M·A·C. has invited fans to an exclusive event where the singer will throw more light on her collection. The event, which will go live on November 10, will also be streamed live on YouTube.

Lisa's fans are also coming up with interesting theories regarding the design of the product. The compact sports the symbol of a flower, which according to her fans looks like a hybrid of lily (the singer's nickname) and a sunflower (Lisa's favorite flower) and they cannot stop raving about the singer's creative genius.

Meanwhile, the singer has been receiving accolades and attention in equal measure recently because her latest solo debut album "LALISA" has been doing great on both domestic and international charts.

The B-side song of the album "Money" debuted at No. 49 on Billboard's Hip-Hop Songs/Hot R&B chart for the October 26 week. Featuring on this chart is a great deal for a foreign artist as compared to some other charts as it takes into account three of the US's most popular genres. Lisa has also won her first nomination for the upcoming 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards.

Lisa is also going to feature in a new collab with Ozuna, Megan Thee Stallion, and DJ Snake, which will be dropped on October 22. Though fans have been looking forward to the new song, it is the announcement of the collaboration between the singer and M·A·C that has taken everyone by surprise.
