ENHYPEN's Sunghoon Is A Heartthrob But Can't Answer "4 x 7" in Time, Sparking Hot Debate Whether He Knows Multiplication Tables

Sunghoon, a member of the K-Pop group ENHYPEN, became a trending topic of discussion recently on social media platforms and online communities because he was unable to give a quick reply to what is "4 x 7".

A netizen had created a post recently on an online community forum asking what everyone thinks about ENHYPEN's multiplication table. The person had added a gif of the singer being asked "4 x 7 = ?", where Sunghoon was seen not being able to reply in time. 

The post further asked that why couldn't the handsome MC of Music Bank answer the question. Was it because he doesn't know the multiplication table or he doesn't know because he is a trainee. The post asked netizens to vote for either of the two options.

Soon enough, there was a thread of replies with Sunghoon becoming a hot topic of debate. One person opined that it was too far-fetched to say that the singer does not know the multiplication table and that he probably forgot because he is so much into his trainee mode. Many fans were not ready to believe that their idol didn't know or couldn't memorize multiplication tables. 

Other netizens thought that the singer could not be forgiven for not knowing the simple multiplication problem. Various interesting comments made the round such as posts that said the singer is an idol and also very good at skating, he just ran out of time when it came to answering "4 x 7". 

One netizen thought it would be really weird if everyone thinks Sunghoon could not answer because he actually doesn't know the answer! Rather, many came forward with the theory that the heartthrob couldn't reply in time because many have the tendency to blank out and be wrong for the easiest things. So, not to make too much out of it or be after him due to his delayed response. 

Sunghoon is a former gold-medalist figure skater who became a trainee at Big Hit in 2018 after getting scouted while he was figure skating. He made an official debut with ENHYPEN during November last year. 

Earlier in September 2021, he along with Jang Won-young were announced as the new host for Music Bank. In September 2021, Sunghoon was announced as the new host for Music Bank with Jang Won-young.

For now, the debate continues with netizens commenting both for and against him and Sunghoon hasn't been able to avoid the ensuing criticism directed at him.
