The second day of BTS's "Permission to Dance on Stage" concert had a huge surprise lined up for fans worldwide. The K-pop megastars finally performed the rendition of their superhot song "Butter" with American rapper Megan Thee Stallion. 

For those who do not know, the septet was supposed to perform "Butter" with the rapper during the 2021 American Music Awards on November 21 However, the highly-anticipated act of the night couldn't take place as Megan canceled her appearance for the performance at the last minute.

Megan had posted a long tweet on skipping the 2021 AMAs. The post, which addressed her fans, said that she was so excited to go to the AMAs and perform with the Bangtan Boys, but because of some unexpected personal matter, she could no longer attend. 

The singer also stated that she was sad to be dropping out and really couldn't wait to hit the stage with BTS and perform "Butter". The rap star actually kept her promise to her fans. The ARMY and Megan's fans have finally viewed the long-due treat of the first live performance featuring the BTS and Megan. 

During the performance of "Butter" on the stage, the Houston rapper made a surprise appearance to perform her rap verse from the iconic song, which had become an immediate chartbuster on release. The K-pop idols and the superstar rapper put up a joyful act, grooving to the epic remix and looking cheerful to be in each other's company. 

Fans, who have named the duo acts "MegTan" were overjoyed to finally see the live performance of the megahit remix. 

After the performance, Megan thanked the crowd for having her. She also said that she was feeling like a hot girl every season. The love was reciprocated by RM who told the crowd to make some noise for the beautiful Megan Thee Stallion.

Later on, Megan also lauded BTS with a tweet and thanked them for inviting her. She said that the performance was everything.

BTS kicked off their "Permission to Dance on Stage" series over the weekend at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The four sold-out shows, two of which already took place on November 28 and 29, are the Bangtan Boy's first live performances in two years. The superstars had to pause their global tour plans due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
