Now the SoFi Stadium's Senior Vice President of Programming, Christy Castillo Butcher has revealed that they are very happy that the Bangtan Boy's historic first US concert since 2019 is being held at SoFi Stadium. He said, for the very first time in the history of the stadium, the K-pop idols sold out four shows, a first for any artist that has performed there.

The "Permission to Dance on Stage" concert achieved the highest ticket sales among any concert hosted by a single band or artist at the SoFi Stadium the senior vice president added.

Opened in September 2020, the SoFi Stadium is located in Inglewood. When the place is used as an event or concert venue, the stadium generally has a maximum capacity of 100,000 seats.

During the BTS shows however the maximum number of available seats for each of the four days could only be half the capacity at 50,000 seats. Half of the seats are unavailable because there is a large screen that is placed behind the stage.

Also, if one show has a seating capacity of 50,000 then all the four shows together have a seating capacity of 200,000, meaning approximately this is the number of seats that the SoFi Stadium has sold out.

The concert is also being streamed live at the YouTube Theater, with a 6,400 seats' capacity. It is the first time that the YouTube Theatre live-stream and the live concert are taking place at the same time.

The dedicated fan following of the Bangtan Boys have flown in from all over the globe to see their idols'' long-awaited return. The show itself started with pyrotechnics as the septet jumped out of a cage to perform the first song "ON".

The big screen also showed footage of the members addressing the 76 United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The second show had a huge surprise lined for all the viewers. While the boys' were singing their super hit "Butter", they were joined on stage by Megan Thee Stallion who performed the remixed rendition of the song by rapping her popular part from the song.
