The eponymous debut title track "ELEVEN" is a pop dance song. It highlights the six members' mysterious charms. The lyrics of the track talk about a girl in love and how her heart becomes tinted with mystical colors. A mostly minimalistic song, it makes for a fun listen with its continuously variating rhythms.

As per the girls, in the world of soccer "First XI" often refers to a team of 11 footballers selected from those with the most outstanding performances. Hence, by titling its debut track, "ELEVEN," IVE overtly shows its aim to become game-changers in the world of K-pop.

The girls are determined to show the best performances possible and create a splash in everything they do, to prove themselves. In fact, the band members do not feel they lag behind any other artist in terms of prowess in music.

All the members of the band were born in the 2000s. The name IVE is short for "I Have" and implies that the girls are ready and well-prepared to show what they have. The name was picked up via an internal contest held by Starship Entertainment.

During their first online press conference today, group member Yujin said that the band is a team with many colorful characters who will be showing their different sides. The group is now eager about their music journey, though they agreed that it was no cakewalk preparing for the debut.

Liz described the music video of "ELEVEN" as a medium through which the girls wanted to express their beauty and charms. The band members also added that being asked to improvise during the filming of their first music video is still in their memory.

It was something that none of the girls had done before, however, the staff members cheered them on during the cold weather during shooting and they were able to enjoy it, the group explained.
