"Little Women" is a classic novel authored by Louisa May Alcott. It chronicles the lives of four March sisters - Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy. The story followed the characters from childhood to womanhood.

With the success of novel's first volume in 1968, readers' interest sparked leading to the completion of the novel's second volume in 1969. In 1880, the two volumes were compiled into a single work. The novel also upheld three key themes - domesticity, work, and true love - which are mutually dependent and essential to the individuality of a woman.

"Little Women" had three known film adaptations, starring Katharine Hepburn in George Cukor's version (1933), Elizabeth Taylor in Mervyn-LeRoy's version (1949), and Winona Ryder in Gillian Armstrong's version (1994). At present, another version of Alcott's novel is now in the works to be seen by the modern generation.

Fans are curious on the cast members as well as the release of the film. They have to wait for the official announcement.
