The 25-Year old defensive end announced his sexual preference openly and that made him occupy a spot in the popular TV series 'Dancing with the Stars'. But, in heart, Sam wants to be known as a pro-footballer.

Sam said he had been criticized for having a white guy, Vito Cammisano, as fiancé. But, Sam is bold; he has disclosed that it all began when he placed his hand on Vito's butt.

Sam knows he cannot start a NFL career that easily. But, he is determined and ready for any team that has an interest to pursue his skills.

"Whoever wants me," Sam said on Sunday. "I'm young and I'm still good," he added. "I don't have any injuries. I'm going to play."

Sam played with the Rams in four pre-season games and made 11 tackles and three quarterback sacks. He was among the final players in the team, The Rams released Sam before the finalizing  the NFL roster.

Then Sam played with Dallas in the practice squad, but could not get on to the Cowboy's active roster though.  He was released in October, according to Yahoo Sports, Singapore.

This year, Sam is very confident he will be playing football again. He has the skill, and the fact that he is already a household name doesn't deter him from scaling the heights in football.

"Absolutely, I think my chances are high," the defensive end said. "As long as I have that will to play the game and I am healthy, you'll continue to see me trying to play in this league. I am very confident I will be playing football somewhere."
