This week on "The Returned" on A&E (air date 3/23/15) - Dr Julie Han is the main focus in this week's new episode. This remake's own touches, the differences from the French original, are promised to show by Episode 6 and go in a completely different track by Episode 8.

For the viewers who have watched the subtitled "The Returned" ("Les Revenants"), there is zero-to-minimal difference between the original and the 2015 adaptation on A&E. Episode 3 is expected to be just the same as the original, but spoiler reports say things would be more different by Episode 6.

Episode 3 tackles the history of Dr Julie Han (Sandrine Holt), particularly the scars she got from a horrendous ordeal in the past. Her history with Deputy Nikki Banks (Agnes Bruckner) will also be presented.

For the uninitiated, clues are dropped in Episode 2 that there is a link between Dr Han and Banks. The case involving the serial killer in town is one of their direct connections. This week's new episode is expected to give viewers more information on how Dr Han survived her ordeal, and perhaps why she is so drawn to the mysterious Victor.

"The Returned" on A&E is "not about autopsying the returned," show boss Carlton Cuse told The Hollywood Reporter. "(It) explores the tremendous personal consequences that arise when someone who is super important to you suddenly returns and wants to resume the life that they had."

"Things start to shift gradually. We made some choices with characters. We start to go down some story paths that by episode eight we are completely out on our own," co-show boss Raelle Tucker told Variety.

Episode 3 of "The Returned" on A&E may be a lot similar (perhaps except from the actors) to the original "Les Revenants." But viewers are still expected to keep an eye out for tiny details that could spell the difference by the time the adaptation is on a track all its own. To first timers, the mystery continues to expand.
