The last-aired episode ended with a shocking twist in the tale. Sarah Manning learns about Project Castor that resulted in the birth of male clones. "Orphan Black" Season 3 is expected to delve deeper into the storyline that involves male clones and their war with Leda sisters.

Unlike previous episodes, Season 3 segments have not been given titles. The first episode of the latest season is called Episode One. According to the official synopsis, as published on Spoiler TV, Sarah goes on a hunt for Helena who has been captivated in a faraway compound. Sarah gets into action to complete the task at hand and reunite the Leda Sisters. At the same time, Sarah must battle the "Topside investigator" that threatens the sisters' existence.

Meanwhile, Cosima's health is deteriorating as she experiences relapse to her mystery illness. Alison and Donnie will have a troublesome future. The couple have marital and financial problems to deal with. However, Sarah's foster family is forced to come together in order to survive when Castor brothers jeopardize their existence.

A new promo video for "Orphan Black" Season 3, Sarah comes face to face with Castor clone Rudy. It gives a glimpse of Sarah and Rudy's first interaction which turns out quite violent. At the beginning, Rudy tells Sarah that she's a "legend." However, it is followed by Ruddy hurling threats to Sarah against her family including her daughter Kira. "Count your sisters," Rudy tells Sarah before she leaves the room.

Fans can expect the return of Rachel. She is not dead as hinted show's executive producer Graeme Manson in an interview with TV Guide. "We should not be counting Rachel down and out," tells Manson to the aforementioned website. The upcoming episode is also expected to reveal the fate of Rachel, who was left wounded by Sarah.
