"Mad Men" star Jon Hamm recently revealed that he just got out and completer a course of treatment from a rehabilitation center due to his alcoholism as he wanted to be there for the final episodes of the United States drama.

According to The Guardian, Hamm entered the rehabilitation center with the support of his partner and co-actor Jennifer Westfeldt. He plays the role of Don Draper in the sad US Drama about a troubled advertising executive with a dark past and drinking problems. "Mad Men" is already on its seventh season. The half of the seventh season of the series will air in April.

E! News also reported that the 44-year-old star and his partner asked for privacy regarding the sensitivity of the subject.

For quite some time now, Hamm has been answering questions regarding his similarity with his character and he always talked about not drinking as much as Don Draper does but it seems that this is not true. Hamm shared in the interview that he would have been unconscious if he did the same thing.

Aside from alcohol, the actor also shared in another interview that he already gave up smoking 10 years ago when he started teaching kids. He pointed out that he does not miss smoking, but he starts to miss it whenever he is on the show.

Aside from that, Hamm also talked about the expectation of people to well-known actors where he stated that their names come with something attached such as a price tag. People challenge actors to choose the right things to do because they look up to them so much.
