Iggy Azalea, 24, opened up in an interview with Vogue April 2015 edition about her appearance.
"When I first got to the States, people told me I should think about modeling," the Australian rapper said. "So I went to a few agencies, but once they measured my body, they didn't like me anymore."
An insider told Us Weekly that Azalea had opted to undergo fast recovery treatment for her breasts with Dr. Ashkan Ghavami at Beverly Hills. The treatment was said to be specially planned and designed for allowing patients to get back on their feet within a shorter span of time than the usually required time period for breast augmentation.
The rapper reportedly took the advantage of this treatment as she gave a wonderful stage performance after her treatment. On Nov. 19, 2014, Azalea shared the stage with Jennifer Lopez at the American Music Awards, which was just after four days of her surgery that had been done.
While fans did not notice Azalea's appearance, the rapper took the help of the costume department to ensure her comfort on stage. The insider said there was "no way" that she could wear her favoured low-cut ensembles just because for having the bruises that have resulted from the treatment.
By replacing that wardrobe, Azalea had to wear a high-cut neck dress having "bandages underneath that was covering her entire chest for hiding those bruises" and several changes have been made to the dance moves for making sure that Iggy did not overexert herself.
