Costume Designer Angus Strathie discussed the various outfits of the protagonist in line with a film that goes on after a hundred years - "The Age of Adaline." Main actors Blake Lively and Harrison Ford also shared their thoughts in the film's featurette video. Plus, actor Ryan Reynolds revealed their new baby's name.
Strathie said in a featurette video in Twitter that the film has many developing characters. The characters' costumes provide vibrance to developing the characters as well as in telling the story. The costume designer added that they looked for a wardrobe, which covers both the past and the contemporary setting.
For actress Lively, she found it a "totally unique way" doing the movie. She also teased that the character is conservative in terms of her outfits, since she is no longer a twenty-nine year old.
Meanwhile, actor Ford suggested that the upcoming romance film is a high class one and it will bring the audience to a world that stimulate one's imagination and unseals one's heart.
"The Age of Adaline" is an upcoming romance film, which centers on a young woman who becomes ageless following an accident. After several years of living alone, she encounters a man who might make her lose her immortality.
The film stars Blake Lively as Adaline Bowman, Michiel Huisman as Ellis Jones, Harrison Ford as William Jones, Kathy Baker as Connie Jones, Amanda Crew as Kiki Jones, and Ellen Burstyn as Flemming.
Other members of the cast include Amanda Crew, Anjali Jay, Richard Harmon, Lynda Boyd, Barclay Hope, Chris William Martin, Lane Edwards, Anthony Ingruber, and Peter Jay.
Lee Toland Krieger is set to pilot the upcoming film, along with David Kern, Sidney Kimmel, Andre Lamal, Gary Lucchesi, Eric Reid, Tom Rosenberg, Jackie Shenoo, Jim Tauber, and Brad Van Arragon as his co-producers. J. Mills Goodloe and Salvador Paskowitz are set to pen the story. Filming is in British Columbia, Canada.
On the other news, Lively's husband Ryan Reynolds revealed their new baby's name on The Tonight Show last weekend, as per Yahoo. After a long period of guessing game, the proud dad said that their new little angel is named James.
"It is Butternut Summerquash. No, it's out there! It's out there. It's James. Everyone knows and I told everyone who would listen that," said Reynolds.
"The Age of Adeline" is slated to premiere in theaters on April 24.
