The world is still mourning over Zayn Malik quitting from the popular boy band One Direction, but there are whispers claiming that another band member will leave the band soon.
Multiple reports state that Louis Tomlinson is on the verge of quitting the band. Tomlinson is rumored to be planning his solo career away from the shadow of the band. The one-time footballer aspires to be an artist manager and wants to launch his own all girl band, OK! reported.
Tomlinson, who recently got split from his longtime girlfriend Eleanor Calder, wants to pursue a career in music production under the guidance from long-term mentor Simon Cowell. The singer is expected to say goodbye to remaining band members Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, as their current tour ends later this year. The 23-year-old has already started working towards his goal and has reportedly set up his own company.
Malik and Tomlinson were reportedly quite close and one's decision is bound to affect other's life and future plans. The two often shared the same private jet while touring. Tomlinson even showed his vulnerable side when he got emotional during the band's first performance after Malik's exit.
Meanwhile, One Direction has insisted that they will continue as a four-piece group amid the rumours that the band is about to split. Band member Liam Payne has thanked fans for being with the band and not believing on band's split rumours.
The band is still sticking to its pre-planned touring schedule. Independent reported that the group has been performing in South Africa as a quartet.
However, the speculations about Tomlinson's future in the band refuse to die down. Tomlinson has been in the news lately for other reasons as well. The singer was spotted kissing a mystery girl in the early hours of Mar. 14, wearing just his underpants, for almost quarter of an hour at a private pool party in Bangkok. The girl is now identified as Lucy Julian, the 20-year old daughter of American menswear designer Alexander Julian.
