The production of Josh Trank's "Fantastic Four" remake is currently in progress. Fans have already had a glimpse on the teaser trailer, featurettes, and posters. At this point, the production team has released new images for the fans to be updated and get more excited.

Images taken from the scenes in "Fantastic Four" have been released by the production team, in Empire Online. One photo shows the "Fantastic Four" wearing white suits traversing the rocky mountains with the dark sky. The next image features Miles Teller in a laboratory, lying down and being monitored by people in green suits. The last picture shows Trank's version of The Thing, the alter ego of Benjamin "Ben" Grimm who is played by Jamie Bell.

Director Trank voiced his thoughts on The Things as well as its actor in Empire. He said that Jamie Bell is "tough" in the real world, exemplifying his strength. Since Grimm is Richards' best friend, he has to possess that kind of "warmth and that strength."

In order to make The Thing appear more realistic and alive, Trank made use of motion-capture technology by covering Bell's spandex tracking suit with markers, according to Cinema Blend. The markers are the ones that record Bell's movement. Such technology has evolved since James Cameron's Avatar film in 2009 and it was also utilized by Andy Serkis along with director Joss Whedon for Mark Ruffalo's The Hulk in "Avengers 2".

Those who have seen The Thing in 2005's "Fantastic Four" will notice a remarkable difference between Tim Story's and Trank's version of The Thing. Ben Grimm's dotted leotard in the remake is darker and more rock-like in contrast to Michael Chiklis' darker and rubber-like muscular ensemble in the 2005 original version.

"Fantastic Four" centers on four young scientists possessing superhuman capacities after a teleportation experiment. The superheroes are set to defend the planet from the oppressors.

Aside from Bell as Grimm/The Thing, the film cast include Miles Teller as Reed Richards/ Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Susan Storm/ Invisible Human, Michael Jordan as Johnny Torm/ Human Torch, and Toby Kebbell as the villain Victor Domashev/ Doom.

The film is to be piloted by Josh Trank, along with Stan Lee, Gregory Goodman, Avi Arad, Cliff Lanning, Simon Kinberg, Matthew Vaughn, Hutch Parker, and Mark Millar as co-producers. Lee and Kiberg, are also set to pen the script together with Jack Kirby and Jeremy Slater.

A full trailer of the film is expected on May 1, the premiere date of "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

"Fantastic Four" is set to hit theaters in the United States on Aug. 7.
