It seems "Minions" star Sandra Bullock had a close shave in 2014 when a stalker broke in to her house with a love letter in his hand. The actress saved herself by hiding in a closet and dialing 911 to seek immediate help. The court has now ordered the alleged stalker to face trials of stalking and burglary.

On April 9, Thursday, the hearing of the case started with the replay of the 911 tape in which Bullock's terrified plea for help can be heard. The Superior Court judge ruled out that the man, identified as Joshua James Corbett, has shown enough evidences that he was stalking the actress and broke inside her house illegally, Independent reported. The chilling incident happened on June 8, 2014 when the Oscar-winning actress' five-year-old son was not at home and she was alone in her house.

On hearing some noise, the actress came down to check its reason and found an  intruder inside her premises, after which she hid herself in a closet and dialed 911.

"I'm in my closet. I have a safe door," said Bullock while breathing  heavily in a terror filled voice. "I'm locked in the closet right now."

The actress can be heard giving instructions to the officer on how to navigate her house and reach her. Bullock sounded petrified when she finally met the officers who came to save her from the stalker.

Corbett had a black notebook along with a two-page love letter and magazine clipping of Bullock's pictures in revealing outfits. Corbett's defense lawyer argued that his client had no intention of hurting the actress. Citing his client's disturbed mental condition, the lawyer argued that Corbett should not be charged with stalking and burglary charges as he was under a delusion that he is married to the star, New York Daily News reported.

Although Corbett was unarmed at the time of the arrest, an arsenal of illegal weapons had been recovered from his house.
