The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 is consistent in terms of innovative product design and practical functionality but failed to capitalize on its overall performance due to its lack of feature and lackluster overlay.
When Lenovo first unveiled the Yoga Tablet 2, most of its competitor were focusing into developing paper-thin and extra-light models. Lenovo takes the more practical approach to its Yoga Tablet 2 and designed it a kickstand which proved to be the tablet's best selling point. The kickstand is very useful when it comes to watching videos, playing games and other activities that demands the tablet to be in a steady upright position, according to CNet.
The Yoga Tablet 2 comes in two sizes, 8-inch and 10-inch. Both models has an aluminum frame and a silver spine located at the bottom. The tablets rounded edge is where the speakers are located and in its rear side, the all-important kickstand.
By twisting the tablet's spine the kickstand pops up and automatically locks into a 90-degree angle. Users still has the option to adjust the tablets angle to their liking. Another unique design incorporated into the Yoga Tablet 2 is the built-in hole that enable its user to hang the tablet from just about anything
The Yoga Tablet 2 10-inch variant has an Intel Atom Z3745 chip and runs on Android KitKat 4.4 platform. It has 2GB of memory and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded using the mircroSD card slot. The tablet's display can support resolution of up to 1920x1200.
The tablet also has an 8-megapixel main camera and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a built-in WiFi and Bluetooth adapter.
The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 may not be considered as a premium tablet on the market right now but its $250 price tag gives it an edge compared to its pricier counterparts, according to Techsmash.
