"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 features some game-changing twists and reveals long-buried secrets in Episode 17 airing April 14. The upcoming segment is titled "Melinda" and focuses on Chloe Bennett's Skye and Ming-Na Wen's Melinda May and their past. Meanwhile, the war between Coulson and Gonzalez continue, heavily affecting the team members of the organizations. Here are few spoilers for the next episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2. The upcoming segment will go into the depths of Coulson's most trusted agent Melinda May's background and her origin.ABC has released synopsis for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 Episode 17 on its official website. According to the press release, fans will finally learn May's story, details about her ancestry and more.
The synopsis states that the upcoming episode will reveal May's history and how and why she got the nickname "The Cavalry." Fans will learn the tale of May's transformation. Meanwhile, May tries to figure out where her loyalty truly lies. She is at a point where she must make a choice between Coulson and Gonzalez.
Elsewhere, Skye makes an important discovery about herself and her heritage as told to her by Lincoln Campbell. Fans must brace themselves to learn more about the Inhumans. However, the newly acquired knowledge will compel Skye to change her directions.
Fans will also see more of a Jiaying, who happens to be Skye's mother. She will help Skye understand her gift. She helps Skye take control of her powers. A promo video for "Melinda" as published on TV Line gives a glimpse of Skye and Jiaying's interaction as she helps her daughter master her superpowers.
In another promo video (as published on YouTube.com by Marvel Entertainment) May tries to figure out the truth about Coulson's secret activities. She learns Coulson has been consulting May's ex husband behind her back. The team begins to suspect that he might be working on a project involving superhumans such as "The Avengers Initiative."
