Nicki Minaj teased her fans hours before posting the ring given by Meek Mill as she posted a status on Twitter showing a diamond ring and a statement alongside it saying that she will post it later.
Her post had over 10,000 favorites and more than 6,000 retweets making it a much-talked about topic by her fans in just a couple of hours. The rapper then posted an actual photo on Instagram showing a giant heart-shaped diamond sparkler on her ring finger although she did not directly confirm that she and Mill are already engaged.
According to a statement by Morgan Shara of MASbisjoux jewelry to E! News, the ring given by Mill is a 15-carat yellow hear modified brilliant cut diamond that is mounted in a platinum and surrounded by white pavé diamonds. Shara pointed out that such jewelry costs over half a million dollars.
A source told the publication that Minaj and Mill are already engaged as they have been spending a lot of time together and have gotten very close in the past months. The source added that although the engagement seems to be too early in their relationship, both are committed 100 percent in the steps they are about to take.
Also, a Twitter follower tweeted a statement to Mill saying that he is lucky hours before news broke that Mill and Minaj are already engaged. Mill replied saying that he indeed is but still did not give away any statement to confirm that he and the rapper are already engaged.
The rumors about the two having a romantic relationship first surfaced back in February this year when Minaj posted a photo of her and Mill giving her a smooch on her cheek. The two have been spotted after that going on several dates.
In an interview with Vogue, Minaj shared that people think that she and Mill have been friends for a long time already and that he has been there for her so many things she went through in the past.
