After almost a month of unconfirmed and speculative reports, singer Chris Brown has officially declared that he is the father of a 10-month-old child. The singer introduced his offspring through an Instagram upload by sharing an adorable picture of the baby girl.
"God has blessed me with my twin. #ROYALTY," wrote the 25-year-old singer to caption the pic in which he and the child, Royalty, can be seen wearing matching red sweat-suits and appear to be spending some quality time together.
Although the news of the singer's secret love child broke in March, this is the first time that Brown has referred the child as his daughter and shared a pic of her on his account.
The child is born to Brown's long time friend named Nia. Insiders claim that the two share a platonic relationship and there is no romance between them, Page Six reported. However, the news of Brown fathering a child was not taken well with his then girlfriend Karrueche Tran, who took to Twitter to end her relationship with the singer in March.
Although Brown has publicly acknowledged the existence of his child for the first time, this was not his first visit. The singer has met Royalty several times before and now wants the world to know that she is his daughter.
"Chris really loves that little girl," E! News quoted an insider close to the singer. "He is not denying he's the father. He's playful with her and dotes on her."
As of now, baby Royalty lives in Houston with her model mother, but the singer is keen to move the duo to Los Angeles so that they can be in vicinity with each other.
