Bobby Brown was in an emotional state when he said that Bobbi Kristina Brown is awake and watching him, said wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown on Monday. The statement is released a day after the 46-year-old singer stunned the crowd at a Dallas concert by hinting unexpectedly that Kristina is recovering and being responsive.
The ambiguity about Kristina's present state got further deepened when her aunt and Brown's sister, Tina Brown, wrote on the celebrity child's Facebook fan page that she is no more on life support system.
To clear the air, Brown's lawyer later released a formal statement saying that Kristina's condition has changed since she has been shifted to the medical rehab center and she will have a long life, People reported. However, the condition of her future years cannot be ascertained.
On the other hand, Cissy Houston, Kristina's grandmother, has issued a statement to the public that apart from the fact that Kristina is out of coma, nothing much has changed in her medical condition. The celebrity child's granny also informed that the 22-year-old has suffered severe, irreversible brain damage and is still unresponsive.
It seems as of now that Kristina will recover slightly and there will be no major improvements beyond a point. Brown's lawyer's statement also indicates that the celebrity child's further life will not be normal and she might have to spend the rest of her days in the rehab centre in a vegetative state.
Meanwhile, TMZ reported that Brown was spotted outside the rehab with his daughter's medical team in a pensive mood along with Kristina's aunt Pat Houston. Several media reports also suggest that Cissy and Pat are not happy with Brown's decision to carry on the life support and reportedly want to let the celebrity child go as it is the will of God.
Kristina is lying unresponsive since Jan 31 after being discovered drowned face down in the bathtub of her Georgia residence. The only child of late Whitney Houston, who was also found dead in eerily similar circumstances in a bathtub of a hotel room, was placed in medically induced coma since then.
