People reported that the lawsuit filed recently accuses Jenner of being "negligent, careless and reckless" when he rammed his car into Howe's Lexus from behind, propelling it into oncoming traffic on the Pacific Coast Highway and collide fatally with a Hummer.

The accident happened on Feb.7 which killed the 69-year-old woman instantly while her car was destroyed beyond recognition. The investigation into the accident in still on by the Sheriff's Department and the former decathlon champion has yet not been charged in the case.

Jenner came out clean during the preliminary investigation as no amount of alcohol nor any drug was found in his system at the time of the accident. The stepdad of the popular TV personality, Kim Kardashian, was not accused of using the mobile phone while driving on the tricky highway.

The lawsuit is filed by Dana Redmond and William Howe, who have not specified yet how much they are seeking in damages, Yahoo! reported. The duo has claimed in the lawsuit that Jenner's negligence has caused them and their relatives deep trouble  and irreversible loss accompanied by immense grief.

Inside reports, however, indicate that the duo was hardly in touch with Howe and used to live separately. The duo had not visited the slain woman in years and now they are trying to cash the opportunity by seeking damages from the reality TV star. Experts predicted that although Jenner will not face any jail time, he probably has to shed off a heft amount in the name of  punitive damages.
