"The Big Bang Theory" is set to air its final episode for the season on Thursday and fans are now wondering what will happen in "The Commitment Determination."
According to multiple sources, two couples in the hit CBS series will face tough challenges in their relationship that could either make or break them.
Earlier this week, CBS released a series of photos featuring the Amy and Sheldon kissing and the couple arguing, thus heightening speculations that they could end their relationship.
Also according to a leaked spoiler for episode 24, Amy will inform Sheldon her plans to cool off with him and this take place via Skype.
Sheldon will agree with what Amy wants and the two of them will go their separate ways.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Steven Molaro explained why Amy will decide to split from Sheldon.
"She's fed up with how slow their relationship is progressing over the past five years. So she puts him up against a wall and says, 'What are we doing?'"
Meanwhile, another couple fans are watching out for is Penny and Leonard.
Despite their many years together, it seems that both are still not ready to settle down and get married.
After Sheldon encourages the two of them to pick out a date, Penny and Leonard will start contemplating whether or not they are ready to exchange their "I do's."
In a separate interview with TV Line, Molaro revealed that Penny and Leonard will tell their friends that they have so busy that is why they could not pick out a wedding date yet. However, the reality is that they both have uncertainties.
Additionally, in an attempt to appease each other, the couple will consider eloping to Las Vegas.
"The Big Bang Theory" airs Thursdays on CBS.
