KardBlock is a new app that blocks any mention of Kim Kardashian and her sisters from the Internet for you, The Daily Beast reported.

Developer James Shamsi said that if there is anything on a user's newsfeed, they simply make it vanish. Users would not know the stories about the Kardashians are there, because they would not see them.

According to kardblock.com, the app seeks to prevent Kardashian news from overshadowing other important news. The webpage of the app reads that they don't care about how Kim &Kanye didn't care when Amy Schumer fell over. They don't care that Kim Kardashian dyed her hair blonde. They don't care about the Kardashians

Shamsi said that the aim of the app is not only to remove Kardashian-related content but also to replace it with donation and charity links. The app, which will be rolled out on Sunday, will substitute Kardashian news with donation pages for the latest earthquake in Nepal. Nepal earthquake has taken the lives of more than 8,000 lives.

KardBlock does not plan to monetize the app. Shamsi said that they are not charging for the app. They have set up a donation page; however, they are sending the donations to charity. He further said that this is about making a change that will impact the lives of many people. The reason that they have introduced it like this is because this is the way to attract the most attention. Shamsi added that they are hoping to make a splash with this and kind of change the way the Web functions.
