In the penultimate episode of "The Returned" Season 1, Helen (Michelle Forbes) sets out to cause serious damage to the town by using explosives on the dam. Meanwhile, Rowan (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) gets ready to marry Sheriff Tommy Solano (Kevin Alejandro).

In more startling developments that were not in "Les Revenants," Victor (Dylan Kingwell) shows Deputy Nikki Banks (Agnes Bruckner) what he can do. Julie (Sandrine Holt) is horrified. At the shelter, Peter (Jeremy Sisto) announces he used to be dead; he's one of the returned, like Camille (India Ennenga) and Simon (Mat Vairo).

"There won't be any roadmap after season one," "The Returned" developer and producer Carlton Cuse told the Hollywood Reporter, adding the producers have discussed "a way to take the show to make it very distinctly our own."

"In the French show, there are some choices that are made near the end of the first season, and we don't make those choices," Cuse added. One of these choices is Peter's confession in "The Returned" Season 1 Episode 9.

"The Returned" Season 1 Episode 10, the audience who saw the full freshman year of "Les Revenants" will finally see the lengths that Cuse and his team have gone through in the American take on a French series.
