"Fast and Furious 7" became a huge success; so it is only fitting to know that the creators of the franchise have already confirmed "Fast and Furious 8."

Prior to the film's release, millions of fans of the "Furious" franchise were worried whether or not the seventh installment will continue to live up to their expectations.

Following the untimely death of Paul Walker, there we speculations that "Fast and Furious 7" will lose its impact simply because one of its most favorite characters would not be there anymore.

However, despite Walker's death, it was proven the "Fast and Furious 7" will continue to live on. Not only did it become a widely successful installment, it was also dubbed as one of the fastest highest-grossing films of all time, according to Master Herald.

Meanwhile, now that "Fast and Furious 8" has already been confirmed by Vin Diesel himself. The actor also confirmed that Walker's brother will continue to stand in his place in the sequel.

According to Diesel, "Furious 7" served as a tribute to Walker but "Furious 8" will start with the late actor, IBTimes reported.

"When your brother guarantees something, you sometimes feel like you have to make sure it comes to pass. So, if fate has it, fate...F8...if fate has it, then you'll get this when you hear about it. Seven was for Paul, eight is from Paul," Diesel said during the 2015 MTV Movie Awards.

In other news, "Furious 8" will also focus on some of the characters, including Kurt Russell's "Mr. Nobody."
