"Fast and Furious 8" star Dwayne Johnson gave a sweet and touching surprise to his super fan and close friend, Nick Mundy, when the former professional wrestler turned up to actually officiated his surprise wedding.
Mundy was in for a big surprise as he was made to believe that the former WWE champion is appearing on his show to talk about his upcoming movie "San Andreas." To increase the excitement and suspense, Mundy was also told at eleventh hour that the actor may not turn up for the interview at all.
During an earlier show to promote "Furious 7," Johnson had famously rejected the Mundy's proposal to become his best man at the wedding. The show host was reportedly left disappointed and disheartened.
As Mundy paced up and down on the building's roof to come up with a better idea to invite the actor, Johnson emerged beyond a wooden door to surprise his good friend and revealed the plans of the day.
Soon the duo was joined by family and friends and it turned out to be a surprise wedding for the show host and fiancé Dilara Karabas, E! News reported. The biggest surprise of the evening, however, came when Johnson declared that he would be officiating the wedding. Watch the video below.
It turned out that the actor was ordained by the state of California for the occasion. He walked the groom down the aisle, officiated the wedding before making the new couple sign on the dotted line of marriage license, Inquisitr reported.
Meanwhile, the 43-year-old star of "Hercules" has joined the likes of Meryl Streep and Bruce Willis by immortalizing his hand and foot imprint in wet cement at the famous TCL Chinese Theater.
