"The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) brings a drama-filled episode on Thursday, May 28, 2015. Fans must brace themselves to watch a Nikki-centric episode as the show focuses on Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and her drinking problem. In the upcoming episode, Newmans organize a family dinner at the ranch. Everyone including Victoria, Nick, Dylan and others gather. Later, however, Nikki realizes that it is not what she is thinking. According to spoilers by We Love Soaps, Nikki's world crumbles down when she realizes that her family and friends have arranged an intervention.

The after-credit scene of the last-aired episode gives a glimpse of the events of the next chapter of "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R).

"You don't have anything to do with the company. What exactly is going on here?" Nikki asks when she arrives for the dinner.

Speaking to TV Insider about the Nikki's stand-alone episode, the actress revealed that it is "shocking."  

"I can't reveal what happens but Nikki hits the skids in a way that neither the fans or anyone in Genoa City has ever seen. It's bad. It's low," Thomas Scott says without giving away too many details.

At the same time, the actress said that fans must not give up on the possibility of a Neil and Nikki romance. She assured that they are going to be romantically involved with each other in the future. And the common point between them is their addiction to alcohol.
